This fusilli with sautéed zucchini and a sweet pepper sauce makes for the perfect first course. The sauce – made using red peppers – is so creamy, velvety and subtly sweet, that it makes the perfect flavour companion to the sautéed zucchini.
The magic happens by sautéing shallots and garlic to give the sauce a robust, slightly sweet base. Then, add some sliced red peppers and cook for a few minutes until soft, but still retaining a slight crunch. This will give your sauce that gorgeous orange hue and creamy texture.
A real treat for the tastebuds!
Today I wanted to cook a cauliflower to make a first course healthy and tasty at the same time
Cauliflower can be cooked using several methods. Some common methods are steaming, boiling, sautéing, stir frying, and microwaving. Cauliflower should be cooked until they are tender-crisp. If it is cooked too long, the florets will fall apart and become mushy… so becareful!
